🧠 A $23 Million Gift from Cary and Will Singleton to Advance Dementia Research at UCI MIND.

Cary and Will Singleton have made a $23 million gift to UC Irvine in support of UCI MIND’s mission to understand, treat, and prevent Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias.

$13 million will go toward the construction of Ann Hutchinson Quilter Hall, the future home of UCI MIND, while $10 million will fund cutting-edge MRI and PET scanners to strengthen UCI MIND’s research and clinical trial capabilities. Scheduled for completion in 2029, the new facility will unite researchers, clinicians, and research participants together to accelerate discovery and improve care.

This generous contribution builds on nearly $80 million in philanthropic support announced in 2025 and brings UCI MIND closer to changing the future of dementia for generations to come.
